Context

I used to play a ROBLOX game called Sponge Zombies War in Late 2025-Early 2026. I wrote this after I realized there was more to Sponge Zombies War (SZW), and did research. "Sponge Zombie War" games is just a category I made up for these 2 specific games that I will talk about since they seemed to be really similar.


Early history

There was a game around on ROBLOX called SpongeBob Zombie War (SBZW) that existed as early as 2019[1]. Its ID was 6830093777[2]. I'm not too sure of its history, but it may have been removed sometime around August-October 2021[2][3].


Modern history

Sponge Zombies War seemingly replaced SpongeBob Zombie War when AG0GA published it on August 25th, 2025[4]>. Its ID was 73397357285757. I found about it in November 2025, and kept playing often until I took a break around February or March 2026. I got "nostalgic", so I tried coming back on April 26th 2026 just to realize that the game was gone. The game was likely removed around March-April 2026.
